PARADE KICKOFF BREAKDOWN

Timelapse process of creating hand-drawn animations for our Parade Kickoff promo. These were created in Procreate, before Procreate Dreams was released. I exported a PNG sequence of each clip and animated every two frames. They were then exported as a PNG sequence to lay on top of the original video.

AMC Logo replacement

This was for an internal video. The idea was to mock AMC into the station, 5 On Your Side.

I used the Clone Stamp tool, in After Effects, to accomplish this. Making the 5 On Your Side logo into a 3D layer and tracked it to the building. I added some glow to create the same neon effect the AMC sign had.

I spent about 1-2 hours on the logo replacement.

Storm tracker logo removal

The Weather First Storm Tracker was previously sponsored by John Deere, Sydenstricker Hobbe.

We needed to reuse this clip immediately but we couldn't show our sponsor on the vehicle. I removed the logo by using the Clone Stamp tool in After Effects.

I spent about 3 hours on the logo removal.

All the ways - word removal

As seen in the 'All the Ways - On Your Schedule' promo. Being in St. Louis, the word 'Arizona' needed to be removed from the person's hat.

Rather than using the Clone Stamp tool in After Effects, I created new layers of the same shot. Then, I created a mask out of 'blank' section of the hat and then aligned it to the shot.

It took 30 minutes to do the word removal.
